UCAS & ADPA Inc. is a collaboration of professionals involved in research and development work promoting equity and full integration of African-descent Canadians, immigrants, and other racialized groups. Our vision is a healthy legacy of people of African descent contributing to the development of Canada through active and equitable integration.
Who we are
UCAS & ADPA Inc. uses a human rights values-centered, self, critical anti oppression, and diversity practice theory embedded in research and development work, to identify and address systemic racism and intersecting barriers at personal/interpersonal, community/institution, and public policy/program levels.
What we offer
We offer community-based research and development programs that include education, professional support, career and purpose-focused mentoring. We offer members a platform to connect and exchange ideas impacting society towards holistic and sustainable development.
